In the first session that the observer watched the materials that the teacher used were: the book (to engage the students attention and as a class starter) with this material the students identified characteristics of the boy in the cover; also the teacher used costumes for the students to represent a character and after that described.

In the second class observed by the supervisor the materials, in my opinion were less attractive to the kids, the teacher only use the book, the projector and some worksheets.

The observations given by the supervisor were good but I think that the first class was more dynamic and fun to the kids, but the objective wasn't that clear like in the second class, and that is key factor for successful classes.

The materials that Vicky used were: Books, images and pictures, blackboard, projector and realia like costumes.
I enjoyed first activity, I thik was a good way to motivate students to talk, describing and represent a character.

In the last class, students were give opinions and points of view about the story, in my opinion was a good strategie.

All the comments from the supervisor was important for encourage Vicky to prepare a best objective.

In the first class,Vicky used a book, a vampire cape , hats, wigs, and masks so students can choose a character to represent and describe..she also used a blackboard and markers...and asked a student to pass to the front and describe her character so her fellows could ask questions about it. It was a good technique for students be able to use their imagination and feel free to talk.

The feedback from the inspector was good in general regarding capting the students attention, they developed good social skills and asked good questions, but she also mentioned that in her opinion, the children were a little bit confused because the instructions of how to describe the characters were not clear for them.

Vicky received some coaching of how to improve her class.

At the next class, she used a book showing images of it,telling a story, using a projector to look at some images. Then she gave the students an activity that consisted to fill in the blank words related with the story. Then, students made a diary of what they understood.

At this time, the inspector was pleased because instructions and activities were clearer for students.

During the video its shows the performance of Miss Vicky Edwards and the importances of feedback from differents points of view to see what sometimes we miss, or that we tought it was right (clear).

The material that I spot was:

The used of realia during the first class.(costumes)
Material to decorate the whole class
The used of books to support or introduce the
first activity.
The use of the white balck board.
The Role play that she tought they could make.
Drawings.
Use of mimics to explain better her idea.

After the first feedback she turn the class to more formal activities like missing words, to complete sentence, etc...
Also the use of the proyector with the help of the book (like a support).

One important thing that Miss Vicky was doing is that she did not lose the touch with her students she could balance the dynamics with the formal an structure activities, so that the kids could follow the goal that she was looking.

The materials used in each stage of the class were: images, drawings, blackboard, costumes, realia, food, etc. Also gestures and mime were present during the classes.

I agree with the observer because the feedback and advices that Mrs. Vicky Eduards received from each person that supported her during the evaluation period, helped her to perform and improve the classes given to the kids.
