
The purpose of designing didactical material is to enrich a class and to make the learning attractive and meaningful.
Traditional classroom arrangement is still the norm in many countries, there is a chalkboard or whiteboard which the teacher and students can write on, and the students have the books to work with. Twenty-first century classrooms around the world have a wide range of equipment and technology available to them.
In this course, we will look into the different materials such as: the board, flashcards, wallcharts, realia, magazine pictures, newspapers, overhead projector, audio and videos, puppets, dictionaries, textbooks, games, computer-based technologies and programs, and ICT.
